Never read the story either, but I read even less frequently than I view. It's usually safest to assume I haven't read it, and even if I did, I didn't get it.

Something of a regional nature, but I've never seen Meet Me In St. Louis.

Considering it, the sports teams, and the world's fair (100 years ago) are all local denizens have in the way of civic pride, I better cover my tracks, or they will find me and make me watch it.

No real good reason to see the Shawshank Redemption. Lot's of good reasons to not see Titanic.
